I was concerned that it would either suck up the bedding or not have enough suction. Surprisingly the suction is awesome AND you can use it on sheets, blankets and comforters without it sucking them up into the roller.
I recommend this vacuum for pet owners - it's a game changer!
Just follow the instructions on use and you are good to go.
This is great for those who have house guests staying several times a year, or you have an Airbnb, either way this is a great way to vacuum and sanitize your mattresses. Use it weekly for great mattress cleanliness and sanitation. Great if you suffer from allergies.
My couch has sleeping cats on it most of the time and it does a great job pulling off cat hair.
This will get a lot of use in my house.
It still got so much dust from my bed. I'm glad that i bought this one.
Cord length is enough for my Queen bed.
I have hyper sensitivity and wake for a hair or a piece of lint, no matter how small!
I use it every night, now. I love it! God sent. (Itd be great for Airbnb sheets and mattresses too)
UPDATE - customer service reached out to me and took care of my concerns.
-Suction Power is ok. I did another test run today( 8/22/24), and it didn't do as well as the Jimmy that I had purchased to compare. However, it's still really good, especially if you don't have as many wild animals as I do, LOL.
-Function Clarity is Awesome; It turns red when it needs more time to sterilize- it's my favorite part of this vacuum.
-Storing is easy.
-Maintenance is simple and easy.
-It leaves a slight chemical smell on the fabric afterward, but it goes away.
Now, the instructions are too basic, I have no idea (still) the best way to use it. Half the time the red light that indicates it's clean, would not turn off by letting it sit for minutes in one spot. Then I'd go back to the spot and it would be fine.
And the blue light HATES edges and those designs in the mattress that are lower than the rest, it turns off.
This works on my mattress but it actually worked a bit better on my weighted blanket, which is a huge pain to take to a laundromat to clean and even though it has a cover, I still like to clean things for allergens, skin cells, pet dander, etc. I stretched it out tight and went back/forth then up/down then flipped it and repeated.
But otherwise, it actually worked. I wasn't seeing much in the dust cup as it was working, but when I disassembled it, I found fur (2 cats and a dog) and what is likely skin cells, allergens, and pet dander. Thankfully no bugs!
So I was skeptical, even while using it with that little red light that seemed finicky, but I saw the gunk it removed and plan to use it every time I change sheets on the mattress and the blanket.
The vacuum is lightweight and ergonomically designed, making it easy to handle and maneuver around different surfaces. The detachable and washable filter makes it convenient, allowing easy maintenance and ensuring long-lasting performance. The vacuum also operates relatively quietly, ensuring minimal disturbance.
One minor drawback is the relatively short power cord, which may require an extension cord in larger rooms. However, this is a small trade-off considering its overall performance. In summary, the UV Bed Vacuum Cleaner is an excellent investment for anyone seeking a deep and hygienic clean for their mattress and upholstery. It combines powerful suction, advanced technology, and user-friendly design.
I vacuumed all 4 mattresses & mattress pads in my house yesterday, plus all of the couch pillows. Luckily no mites were detected but quite a bit of debris came out of the couch pillows that everyone lounges on. The vacuum has a sterilize function so it sterilizes as you vacuum out the allergens and debris from furniture.
I'm adding this vacuum to my normal cleaning routine to better clean my house from now on because I know that the debris that I vacuumed up is actually dead skin cells. How gross!
The unit comes with an extra filter which is always great to have supplied in the box. The unit itself is very easy to operate, easy to transport, has plenty of cord length so you can easily maneuver around a king size bed, and doesn't have a lot of weight. Just place on the bed, kick the power on, and gently glide it over the mattress.
I plan to run this on all the mattresses, especially the kids'.
I like that there's a hepa filter and not a cone filter taking up a bunch of room.
At this point I'm just going around vacuuming everyone's mattress that will let be. Better to be on the safer side of healthy.
